Hair science built around damage inside the fiber
Global Milbon is a professional hair care system from Milbon Co., Ltd. Its research identified Stick-Shaped Voids, or SSVs—cavities inside damaged hair associated with split ends and breakage. Milbon used high-resolution X-ray CT research at Japan's SPring-8 synchrotron facility to study these changes beyond what can be seen from the surface.
